Workshop #6: Naomi Kuo (artist) | Jory Mixay (teacher)

Asian American Garden Collage: Celebrate Culture & Creativity Through Collage! In this workshop, families will create beautiful collages inspired by the vibrant vegetable gardens found in Asian American communities. Using recyclable paper and guided by traditional Chinese paper cutting techniques, you’ll fold, cut, and design your own garden-themed masterpiece.

Together, we'll explore organic shapes, symmetry, and the exciting principles of contrast and variety—all while learning about cultural traditions and caring for our planet.

Medium: Collage
