Active military personnel and their families receive $2 off general admission for up to six people. Discount may not be combined with any other offers. Active military member must be present in order to receive discount at box office.

ASTC Travel Passport

Members of the ASTC Passport Program receive free admission for the number of people designated by their corresponding membership level. You will need to present your membership card at the box office to gain admission. Admits only household family members, or grandparents and grandchildren, up to six people.

TEXAS Lone Star Card (TANF, SNAP and WIC)

Participants in the Texas Lone Star Card program may present their card (via app or physical card), and a photo ID to receive general free admission for up to 6 individuals.

Open Doors

Open Doors is a partnership between Children’s Museum Houston and Houston-area non-profit organizations to ensure families living with low income can visit the museum. Through this program, families may receive an Open Door pass for a one-time visit of up to 6 individuals to the Museum. Open Door family passes must be presented at the box office for admission.

MUSEUMS FOR ALL

Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 1,000 museums throughout the United States. At Children's Museum Houston, simply present an EBT card and a photo ID to receive general admission for up to 6 individuals. Current EBT card program accepted for out-of-state visitors. Learn more.
