Group Leadership

Ages

7+

Designed for community groups (i.e. youth clubs, scout troops, etc.) who want to volunteer for short-term projects, half a day or one full day and earn volunteer hours. The Museum welcomes volunteers of all ages; chaperones are required if the group members are under age 18.

Individual Leadership

Ages

18+ (Chaperone required for under 18)

Volunteers are asked to complete a minimum of 30 hours of service to the Museum per year. Activities include volunteering at the Information Booth, or for Special Events and Museum Outreach.

Corporate Leadership

Ages

18+

Perfect for corporate and business groups who wish to complement their contribution to the community through volunteer service.

Kids’ Committee

Ages

8 – 13

A program for kids dedicated to helping the Museum be a better place for children. This group is asked to provide a kid’s perspective for the Museum on everything from exhibit development to programming. Next recruitment cycle will begin April 2024. Check back for the link to apply.

Discovery Squad

Ages

14 – 17

Our youth leadership program for talented, out-going, and committed young adults, to assist with exhibits, countless activities and programs. This group is asked to complete a minimum of 75 hours of volunteer service to the Museum during the summer months or throughout the school year.
