Meet with organizations dedicated to supporting families with sensory sensitivities and developmental needs.

  • Right to Read: Visit Right to Read to learn about their literacy programs and resources that help students build strong reading skills and confidence
  • BrightPath Behavior: BrightPath Behavior guides children with autism and their families on a compassionate, play-based journey that turns challenges into growth, uncovering strengths and creating a bright path toward learning and hope.
  • ACES ABA: Visit with ACES to learn about their Applied Behavior Analysis-based programs which serve students with autism and other developmental disorders.
  • University of Houston (UH) Cognitive Development Lab: Learn how the lab's research on children's language learning can help parents and educators.
  • Luna Family Autism: Connecting individuals, families, and communities with expert care, Luna Family Autism provides therapy, educational support, and family-centered programs to help children with autism reach their full potential.
  • Neuhaus Education Center: Visit with Neuhaus Education Center for information and resources pertaining to literacy and dyslexia and do some hands-on alphabet and word reading games and activities with children.
  • Texas ABA Centers: An Autism Therapy Center that specializes in therapy for children on the ASD spectrum.
  • The Arc of Harris County: The Arc promotes community awareness, creates opportunities for inclusion, and provides a broad array of support and resource services within the IDD and autism communities.
  • Wellness Institute of Neurodevelopment: The Wellness Institute of Neurodevelopment specializes in uncovering the root neurological causes behind the behaviors, sensory challenges, and developmental differences that neurodiverse individuals and their families navigate every day.
  • Luna Family Autism: Luna Family Autism provides virtual ABA therapy led directly by BCBAs, giving families the tools to help their children thrive in real-world environments

Easter Bunny Meet & Greet: Say hello and snap photos with the beloved holiday bunny!

When: From 10 am to 1 pm in Kids' Hall Alcove

Music & Emotions Workshops: Explore music and feelings through sound, movement, and a calming sensory sand grounding activity guided by a licensed professional. Limit 15 participants per session; ages 5+

When: At 10:30, 11:30am, & 12:30 pm in Playscape

Craft & Language Workshop: Create a simple craft while exploring new ways to express yourself.

When: At 10:45, 11:30am, & 12:15 pm in Design Studio

Easter Bunny Storytime: Join us for storytimes featuring a special guest reader, the Easter Bunny, then stick around to say hello and take a photo!

Faithful Paws: Fuzzy, friendly, and fluffy all over! These therapy pets are sure to bring a smile!

When: From 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in the Parent Resource Library

ON-GOING ACTIVITIES

Sensory Room: Take a break a quiet space designed for children and families to relax, reset and recharge.

When: All Day in Tree Top

Egg Decorating: Spin and color wooden eggs with vibrant markers to create one-of-a-kind designs—no mess, just lots of creativity! While supplies last.

When: All Day in Chevron Maker Annex

To make your visit smoother, here are a few resources tailored to parents of neurodiverse children. It includes practical advice and planning tips to make the visit smoother, ensuring families feel empowered and confident before and during their trip.

Checkout a KultureCity Sensory Bag! – Visit our Welcome Center to checkout a KultureCity Sensory bag which includes Noise-Reducing headphones, fidgets, visual cue card, and an ID Card with a breakaway lanyard.
