Be enthralled as Griot, Manning Mpinduzi-Mott tells the tales, leaps, dances, and turns into all kinds of magical creatures as he takes you on a journey through storytelling.

Manning Mpinduzi-Mott is a native Houstonian actor, director, lighting designer, and a Griot whose work has been seen at venues across Houston and the U.S. He takes students on fantastical journeys through his powerful stories.

A griot is a West African storyteller, singer, musician, and oral historian.
