Each year, the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association partners with the Children’s Museum Houston to bring this celebration to the city of Houston. Join us as we celebrate Mid-Autumn Fest through activities, storytelling, lion dance, and more!

Mid-Autumn Festival Activities with VCSA: Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with hands-on activities, cultural displays brought to you by the Vietnamese Culture & Science Association.

When: From 9 am to 2 pm in Kids' Hall

Multilingual Storytimes: Join us for special storytime celebrating Asian stories and culture in our library.  

When: At 11 am, 1 & 3 pm in the Parent Resource Library

Sanggar Tari Citra Indonesia: Experience the beauty and energy of Indonesia through a vibrant dance performance featuring graceful movements and a joyful expression of culture and community.

When: At 11 am in Brown Auditorium

Soaring Phoenix Lion Dance: Experience the energy and beauty of a traditional lion dance!

When: At 12 & 2 pm on the Patio

Dance of Asian America: Enjoy a captivating performance highlighting traditional and contemporary Chinese dance.

When: At 1 pm in Brown Auditorium

Paper Lanterns: Design and decorate your own paper lanterns, bringing light, color, and creativity to the Mid-Autumn Festival all day long.
