About the Event

Time to get molecular! Did you know that hydrogen can be used as a clean energy source? Learn how clean energy shapes our future with fun skits performed by Edison Middle School, and a hands-on craft activity that'll allow you to bring home your very own balloon car!

ONGOING ACTIVITIES:

Hydrogen Skit

Auditorium, 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Learn how Hydrogen can be used as a clean/green fuel. Science Workshop students from Edison Middle School become atoms and molecules to demonstrate how a Hydrogen fuel cell works.  Afterwards, you can make your own Hydrogen atoms and water molecules that you can take home.  

Car Workshop

Ongoing, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. with a 1 hour break, Maker Annex

Join Jason in the Kidtropolis Art Academy to make your very own balloon car! As you make your car learn about Houston’s leadership in the development of alternative energy, especially green hydrogen.
