Every First Friday of the Month, All Year Long!

FamJam Fridays: A morning of bonding for parents and caregivers with babies and toddlers celebrating the vital role they play in their children's lives. Families will enjoy complimentary coffee, and breakfast treats courtesy of CMH (while supplies last), all while forging connections in a warm and positive atmosphere.

Guest Speaker: Texas Children's Hospital upWORDS Program Manager/Educator, Jennifer Howell: Jennifer provides parent education within our upWORDS Program and throughout the community on early brain development and the importance of early language development. Jennifer has 7 years as a Health Educator with TCH and experience as a classroom teacher, with extensive training in emergent literacy, and navigating the medical and educational models in both professional and personal capacities. She is trained as a LENA Start coordinator, holds a certification from the Alberta Foundation on early brain development and certified as a Triple P coordinator. She is passionate about seeing parents learn and grow with their babies and become confident in their ability to help their child be successful.
