Join us for these opportunities to explore literature and culture and enhance social skills in a fun, interactive environment. Led by Educator Megan, these engaging workshops are designed to foster a love for reading and empower children with essential social abilities.

JUNE 2024

Bee Kind: Brainstorm ways to “Bee Kind,” “Bee Sweet” and “Bee Yourself” to build up your social emotional confidence.

When: June 5, 19 and 26 from 9 am to 10:45 am in Kidtropolis, USA entrance

Understanding Each Other: Challenge yourself to share a story without words as you play a game with Educator Megan to explore ways to communicate with one another even when we don’t share a common language.

Galaxy in a Jar: Let your mind blast off in this educator-guided workshop as we make our very own galaxies!

When: June 18, 20, 25 and 27 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in Alexander Art Academy

JULY 2024

Stone Cactus: Beat the summer heat as you craft your own stone cactus in this guided workshop!

When: July 2, 4, 9 and 11 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in Alexander Art Academy

Summer Picnic Collage: Outdoor picnics are a classic summer tradition. Design a picnic "blanket", then fill it with a collage of your favorite foods!

When: July 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 9 am to 10:45 am in Kidtropolis, USA

Guelaguetza Baskets: During the Guelaguetza Festival, communities of Oaxaca come together and celebrate the diversity of their traditions and cultures with music and dances, regional food, and local crafts fairs. Join in the celebration as you create a handwoven basket in the style of a Oaxacan palm leaf basket.
