India knows how to celebrate! Come and experience the culturally rich, Indian celebration of spring, Holi! You'll be charmed by these fun hands-on activities where you can create colorful, traditional Indian arts and crafts as well as watch a traditional Indian dance.
Gulal Color Fest: Dive into the joyous tradition of Holi by playfully throwing bright, colorful powders and celebrating the festival of colors!
Limit 50 participants ages 3+ (ages 3-5 must have an adult enter with them). Parents must sign waiver for each child. Sign up near Playscape. Please note each sign up opens one hour prior to start time.
Springtime Trees: Come make a tissue paper tree to celebrate the Hindu holiday of Holi! This Springtime festival is also known as the Festival of Colors, the Festival of Light and the Festival of Love and is celebrated all over the world, but especially in India. Your tissue paper trees celebrate the Springtime growth and honor the rich vibrance of Holi’s colors.
Hindus of Greater Houston: Join Hindus of Greater Houston for a vibrant Holi celebration with fun activities for kids to learn about the festival and special bags of colorful powder to take home!

Special Storytimes: Let’s read “Festival of Colors” by Kabir Sehgal and Surishtha Sehgal. We will explore the Hindu Festival of Colors with siblings Chintoo and Mintoo as they create the colorful powders for their neighborhood color celebration!
