About the Event

Diwali also known as the festival of lights, is a worldwide celebration where millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains celebrate the triumph of good over evil with amazing rituals such as festive lights, dancing and much more! Celebrate Diwali with us and take part in several culturally rich activities and catch traditional Indian dance-a-longs as well as story times and art workshops!

ON-GOING ACTIVITIES

Diwali Crafts: Celebrate Diwali with this beautiful assortment of crafts.

When: From 10 am to 2 pm in Alexander Art Academy

12 kids per session

Hindus of Greater Houston:

Storytime with Silambam Houston: Enjoy this interactive story time for Diwali and then help enact the story using Indian classical dance movements.

When: At noon in Kid's Hall Alcove

Rangoli Art: See the breathtaking Rangoli art by Hindus of Greater Houston.
