About the Event

Black Panther takes a break from fighting crime to meet guests at the Children's Museum Houston! Don't miss this thrilling themed event and amazing photo opportunity.

While you're here, explore some more of our 'Wakanda Forever' event.

Black panther will be at the museum from 10am-5pm.

Juneteenth celebrates the day enslaved African Americans in Texas were told they were free. On June 19, 1865, Union general Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston and proclaimed freedom from slavery in the state. Children’s Museum is proud to celebrate and honor this historic day with drumming, storytelling, dramatization, interactive activities and so much more! Can your mind come out to play?™
