Fairytales really can come true. The Museum’s Once Upon a Time Gala raised a record-breaking $1.32 million in one enchanted evening. Chairs Jessica & Michael Bertuccio and Bahareh & James Flavin transformed Corinthian Houston into a storybook, complete with a carriage, a candlelit garden, and even wickedly good apples that were not what they appeared to be. Underwriting Chairs Lauren & Max Barrett and Lilly & Harrison Cullen welcomed more than 500 guests, and an auction chaired by Alex Butt and Claire Virga was a highlight of the night.
Almost every fairytale has a Prince Charming, but the Museum’s Gala had two of them. Two adorable puppy princes found their forever homes, going to lucky bidders Jonathan & Ashley Sloan and the event chairs, the Bertuccio's.
