Celebrate this abundant season with a whole new slew of events all week long here at the Children's Museum!
Children's Museum Houston
It's that beautiful time of the year, between Halloween and Christmas. The air is a little more crisp, leaves are falling, and we gather our friends and family together to share in an abundant feast as we reflect on everything we hold dear and what it means to us. It's Thanksgiving Time! Join us this year for a cornucopia of festive activities you're sure to be thankful for.
November 20: Turkey Jam
Yes, we are OPEN this Monday and the big bird is back! Celebrate Thanksgiving with tunes from a DJ as you partake in turkey line dancing and games with the Children's Museum turkey!
November 21: Turkey Pardon
Watch our real, live turkey get a free pass from Kids' Committee President during this live event.
November 22: Pumpkin' Chunkin'
Break up into teams and scramble to fill the pumpkins as fast as you can! Then, watch physics and gravity do its thing as we drop the pumpkins from a lift to see how far it goes ka-boom. Guests vote on the biggest, and baddest SMASH! Participants are picked by raffle. Sign up at the tables in Concrete Jungle.
November 23: Thanksgiving Day (*The Museum will be closed*)
November 24: Changing of the Seasons
Join us for this fun skit as the Great Gobbler passes the Holiday season over to Santa, with a little help from the Ensemble Theatre! And the big fat man in the red suit will be meeting guests along with an elf helper! So, bring your Christmas wish list.
November 25: Guess Who's in Town
It's a very Seussical celebration as the one and only, green meanie, the Grinch pays a visit! And don't miss a special story time from Cindy Lou Who.
