Hey there superhero! Take a break from fighting crime and saving the world to join us for a new WonderWeek full of comic book hero inspired activities and crafts. Did you know you have a superpower? Reading is a superpower because it can transport you to different worlds!

A Hero’s Story

Create a bookmark featuring one or more of your favorite superheroes!

Butterfly Symmetry

Using the butterfly worksheet find and match the missing halves of the butterflies.

Be Brave

Read Brave by Stacy McAnulty, then become brave yourself as you make your own super hero helmet inspired by the book!

Create Your Own Comic Strip

Make your own comic book featuring all your favorite characters—or invent a few of your own!

Superhero Masks

Read the story Yasmin the Superhero and design your own mask to wear while you help others around you!

Even Steven Odd Todd

Be the first player to get rid of all your dominoes using what you know about even and odd sums.

Thermo Time

Learn about thermoplastic polymers through two different experiments. You will mold and color your own thermoplastic creations!

Identifying Starch

Learn about the carbohydrate starch, its role in the human body, and how scientists can use iodine to identify starch.

Location: Power Science Lab

Pipe Cleaner Neuron

Learn about neurons and the role they play in our body to send signals from our brain to our body.

Animatronics

Interact with motorized animatronic inventions and create your own analog animatronic creations to take home!
