Magical Molecules/Weight in Space
Activity 1:
Explore the vacuum of outer space using a vacuum chamber! Test out different materials (i.e. rubber, plastics, marshmallows, etc.) to see the “magic” of molecules!
Activity 2:
Heavier objects bend the space-time more than others. This hands-on experiment gives kids the correct viewpoint of outer space, while learning about differences in gravity across planets, stars, black holes, etc.
