Camp Adventure is a dynamic summer camp offered to children in Pre-K through 5th grade across the Greater Houston area. Funded by the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation and United Way, Camp Adventure provides high-quality, engaging programming at select partner sites in the community. Camp Adventure combines literacy and hands-on STEM learning with a focus on real-world applications across a variety of STEM careers.
Campers participate in exciting, occupationally focused activities—including STEM experiments, literacy enrichment, creative crafts, and interactive games—designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of learning. With a strong commitment to educational equity and community engagement, Camp Adventure continues to grow as a cornerstone of summer learning for children throughout Houston.
