HOUSTON (April 16,2025) – Shell yeah! Easter is just around the corner, and Children’s Museum Houston is scrambling together an egg-stravaganza which will have your little chicks cracking up with joy! From bunny-approved crafts to egg-squisite meet-and-greets, there’s no yolk—this weekend is going to be all it’s cracked up to be!  

WHAT'S HATCHIN'?

FRIDAY, APRIL 18

Easter Egg Decorating: Egg-spress yourself! We’re dye-ing to see what you’ll create! Spin and color wooden eggs using vibrant markers—no mess, just shell-shocking creativity.

When:  In Tree Top room, all day while supplies last

SATURDAY, APRIL 19

Sock Bunny Workshop: Bun-believable! No bunny does it like you! Stitch together your own fluffy-tailed friend in this aww-dorable Easter craft.

When: At 10:30, 11:30 a.m., 12:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. in Alexander Design Studio.  Limit 12 per workshop.  Ages 3+

Easter Bunny Story Times: Hop into a hare-raising tale old by none other than the Easter Bunny! Stick around after each story. SomeBUNNY loves a warm and fuzzy pic!

When:  At 2, 3 and 4 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.

SUNDAY, APRIL 20

Easter Bunny Meet-and-Greet: Ears to you! The Easter Bunny is back for one last hop! Don’t miss your chance to say hello and grab a bunny-tastic photo.

When: From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Kid’s Hall Alcove.

Egg Decorating: Didn’t get to egg-spress yourself on Friday? Here’s some eggs-tra time to decorate.  Our egg decorating station is back for one more spin!

When: In Alexander Design Studio, all day while supplies last.
