HOUSTON (Dec. 4, 2025) – Let it glow, let it glow, let it glow! Children’s Museum Houston is turning down the lights, softening the sounds, and opening its doors for a specially crafted Sensory Friendly Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, sleighed with winter cheer, wrapped in wonder, and topped with a special visit from Santa! Designed for children with ASD, sensory processing disorders, and a variety of learning differences, this exclusive event transforms the Museum into a peaceful winter sanctuary where every child can explore at their own pace. Registration is required.

Santa Meet-and-Greet: Santa’s making a special, sensory-considerate stop! Share your holiday wishes, enjoy a peaceful interaction, and snap a memory worth framing.
Elf Story Time and Craft sponsored by Phillips 66: Join Educator Heather for a soothing story time straight from Santa’s library, plus a simple holiday craft to keep little hands busy.
COMMUNITY RESOURCE PARTNERS: (All Day in Kid’s Hall)
During your visit, be sure to check out a KultureCity Sensory Bag at the Welcome Center, the perfect helper for a calm, cool, and collected visit. These come with noise-reducing headphones, fidgets, visual cue cards, and an ID card with a breakaway lanyard.
