Children’s Museum Houston’s Rockin’ New Year’s Bash is the city’s longest-running New Year’s Eve celebration just for kids! 

ROCKIN’ NEW YEAR’S BASH

Ring in the New Year at the stroke of 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. with ball drops, musical spotlights, and after-party just for kids!

New Year’s Eve, Friday, Dec. 31, beginning at 10 a.m.

Museum closed New Year’s Day

 

Kids finally don’t have to stay up till midnight to celebrate the New Year!  Children’s Museum Houston’s Rockin’ New Year’s Bash is the city’s longest-running New Year’s Eve celebration just for kids!  This end-of-year bash will ring in the New Year at the stroke of 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. with ball drops, just like in Times Square!  Musical talents will spotlight this New Year’s Eve celebration complete with 11 a.m., noon and 1p.m. countdowns, ball drops and DJ dance after party! 

 

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Juggler Noah:  Be mesmerized by a jaw-dropping, gravity defying performance!

Event time: All day in Museum entrance.

 

Magic by Jamie Salinas: Your mind will be blown by quickhanded moves of an award-winning magician.  

Event time:  10:30a.m. in Allen Family Courtyard.

 

DJ Trio Pre-Party:  Jam to the wickedly sounds of DJ Ryan or take it outside to DJ Mr. Duke and DJ Ernie!

Event time: All day in Museum entrance, Kids’ Hall Alcove and Allen Family Courtyard.

 

Three Countdowns and Ball Drops:  Countdown to 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. to welcome 2022!

Event time: First countdown at 10:30 a.m., second at 11:30a.m., third at 12:30 p.m. in Allen Family Courtyard.

 

DJ After Party:  Just because the ball has dropped, doesn’t mean the party is over!

Event times: Following ball drop in Museum entrance, Kids’ Hall Alcove and Allen Family Courtyard.
