713 Day, Houston’s unofficial holiday on July 13 (7/13), celebrates the city’s unique culture and community. In this spirit, Children’s Museum Houston invites you to beat the Houston heat and chill out during a Frozen-inspired adventure! It’s a day packed with chilly activities and spectacular displays for the whole family. Make your “Summer Escape” to the Museum, now through Labor Day, sponsored by Champion Energy.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
Frozen Singalong w/ Anna, Elsa, Hans and Olaf: Dance and sing-along with your favorite Frozen-inspired characters and friends in a wonderful, show of music.
Event Times: At 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in John P. McGovern Kid’s Hall Alcove.
Liquid Nitrogen Demos: Be amazed as our scientists take the stage with astonishingly cool experiments and mind-blowing demonstrations as we delve deep into the wonders of liquid nitrogen!
Event Times: From 10 a.m. to 1 pm in INVISTA Science Station.
DLG Ice Factory- Live Ice Sculpting: Witness talented artisans carving impeccable designs from blocks of ice, turning frozen water into stunning works of art.
Event Time: At 12:30 pm in Concrete Jungle.
