Children’s Museum Houston announces its participation in “Gabby’s Dollhouse” MEOWseum Discovery Days from Oct. 23 to 25, 2026, in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM). Back for a second year, “Gabby’s Dollhouse” MEOWseum Discovery Days encourages families to visit children’s museums across the country while celebrating the power of imagination and play. Participating museums will incorporate Gabby and her friends, in varying ways by location, into their respective programming and spaces to inspire a love of discovery. Get ready, Houston, because Fairylandia is calling!
Advance registration is required for the Gabby Meet & Greet. Timed tickets are provided with Museum admission and include full Museum admission for the same day from 9 a.m. to 5p.m. Every person attending the Meet & Greet, including adults and children, must have their own timed ticket. Registration opens at 5 p.m. today while supplies last. Limited standby opportunities may be available, but a reservation is the only way to guarantee a Meet & Greet with Gabby.
“We are thrilled to welcome back ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’ MEOWseum Discovery Days for a second year and give Houston families another opportunity to experience the magic ofimagination, creativity and play,” said Danni Dancer, Children’s Museum Houston’s Director of Program Development. “From meeting Gabby and creating cat stuffies to dancing, storytelling and exploring the Museum, families can step into a world inspired by Fairylandia and make memories together.”
In addition to the costume character Meet & Greet, Children’s Museum Houston will present a full lineup of “Gabby’s Dollhouse”-themed activities throughout the weekend. Families can design cat stuffies featuring Pandy Paws and Fairy Hamster Kitty,join Gabby Toddler Storytimes and Gabby Storytimes, search for hidden catsduring the Gabby Cat Scavenger Hunt, create colorful kitty-inspired facedesigns and craft their own Kitty Ear Crowns.
