Children’s Museum Houston and Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center are rolling out the red carpet for kids during Día del Niño, a day bursting with joy, creativity, and cultural celebration. Get ready to unleash your imagination, dance to the rhythm of excitement, and embark on a fiesta of fun designed especially for the young (and the young at heart)!
WHAT IS EL DÍA DEL NIÑO?
Celebrated on April 30 in Mexico and on various dates across Latin America, Día del Niño (Day of the Child) is a day dedicated to honoring and uplifting children, recognizing their importance in society and ensuring their happiness and well-being. Schools, communities, and families come together to celebrate with fun activities, special treats, and cultural festivities. It’s a day filled with laughter, joy, and a reminder that childhood should be magical!
