A recent study by The University of Texas at Austin confirms what many parents already know—as temperatures start to rise, children’s physical activity decreases. Especially on hot days, keeping kids active can be a challenge.

The Museum's PowerPlay exhibit is a great way for families to stay active in all seasons, featuring 4,000+ square feet of fitness challenges that span three stories. Last year, parents reported that PowerPlay helped their children build confidence in their physical abilities (87%), positively push their physical limits (88%), and understand that physical activity can be fun (89%).
One of the most memorable comments was by a parent of multiples who simply stated, “I have triplets and PowerPlay is the reason we are here.”
