Kickin' It at the Museum This Summer

You didn’t have to be a soccer star to score a goal at the Museum's Kick It Off! Houston event. Across four weeks, families celebrated their favorite teams and learned about countries from around the world. All activities—from face painting to a pennant parade—were included with admission, making this event a family-friendly way for Houstonians to experience world-class soccer excitement.

A highlight was the Global Goal Soccer Party, which featured a giant-sized soccer competition. Museum CEO Rayanne Darensbourg led a team of children against a rival squad captained by Chevron Corporate Affairs Advisor Laura Dandridge. Winning wasn't required to receive a prize—everyone could pick up free soccer swag at a booth hosted by Chevron volunteers.

If you missed Kick It Off! Houston, you can still create the perfect soccer keepsake at the Museum's Chevron Maker Annex. This engineering hub features laptops and 3D printers for making custom figurines, keychains, and even wearable accessories.
