With retro fashions and vintage letterman jackets, more than 460 guests raised a record-breaking $1.16 million at the Museum’s Prom Night: Party Like It’s 1999 Gala on October 18th. Chairs Kathryn & Travis Boeker and Cassandra & Ryan Dalton created a truly memorable evening, with surprises that included a live marching band, a choreographed flash dance set to Fatboy Slim, and a sparkly photo booth with high school vibes. Underwriting Chairs Rebecca & Bill Adler and Blair & Barry Kessler were a key part of the Gala’s success, helping to fill The Corinthian with supporters who were both fun and philanthropic. A highlight of the evening was an exciting auction chaired by Tracy Northington and Nina Rand.

Guests enjoyed a dinner inspired by 90’s favorites, including a strawberry sponge cake cleverly designed to look like a Pop Tart. It wouldn’t be Prom Night without a king and queen, and Will Northington and Ellen Bookout were crowned as the evening’s Gala royalty. After dancing the night away, guests went home with sweet treats donated by Dessert Gallery.
