You may have thousands of photos on your phone, but how many do you have on your fridge? At a recent Free Family Night, parents went home with keepsake photos of their children dressed as future professionals. There were veterinarians, soccer stars, artists, and many more careers to choose from.
These fun photos were the culmination of a set of activities by PNC's Mobile Learning Adventure. At several stations, children explored their interests and then learned about relevant career options. Decades of research shows that even children in elementary school can benefit from exploring the question, "What do I want to be when I grow up?"
Partnerships like these make every Free Family Night special, expanding CMH's programming for visitors. In the community, PNC underwrites the Museum's Para los Niños workshops that provide hands-on learning at libraries and community centers throughout Houston.
