Thousands of kid judges have voted, and the results are in! Across the past nine months, visitors have tried out innovative STEM activities created by Museum educators for ExxonMobil MindFest. In December, the Museum featured the "best of the best," with the top MindFest activities showcased as part of a STEM-tacular extravaganza. Visitors made stretchy slime, played golf with robots, created art with remote control cars, built towers out of paper, and more as they learned about STEM concepts.
These activities weren't just highly rated by children, parents also value ExxonMobil MindFest: 100% of parents stated that MindFest increased their family's confidence in exploring STEM together, 97% of parents said their children gained new knowledge and skills, and 100% said they gained strategies and resources for continued STEM engagement.
MindFest is an integral part of Full STEM Ahead, a year-round Museum initiative underwritten by ExxonMobil that encourages families to explore STEM together, including during Free Family Nights.
