Pretending to be a grown-up isn’t just fun—it’s a unique opportunity for learning. In the kid-city of Kidtropolis, visitors roleplay as veterinarians, loan officers, store managers, and more.
Last year, 95% of parents reported that their children explored future career options in Kidtropolis, and 94% said their children engaged in responsible actions and decision-making. In addition, 96% of parents indicated that Kidtropolis helped them become more involved in their children’s learning, and 95% said the exhibit provided a quality learning experience outside of school.
Parents were eager to share their experiences in the exhibit, with one stating that they “always spend over an hour here [in Kidtropolis] each visit.” Another said the most memorable part of the exhibit was “the happiness on their faces during role play.” One parent concluded the survey with, “CMH is the most awesome kids place in Houston!”
