These bilingual (English-Spanish) workshop are designed to engage young learners in the joy of reading and writing through hands-on activities, stories, and interactive exercises. Each session is filled with creative activities like story time, letter games, and arts and crafts, all aimed at fostering a love for language and developing essential pre-reading and writing skills in a fun, nurturing environment.

Making Books Come Alive: Reading books with children is largely recognized as the most active leading to language development. This workshop will encourage parents to help their child develop new language, pay attention better, and learn more by asking many different questions and by responding warmly to expand on their child’s interest in the book, while reading together.
