These bilingual (English-Spanish) workshop are designed to engage young learners in the joy of reading and writing through hands-on activities, stories, and interactive exercises. Each session is filled with creative activities like story time, letter games, and arts and crafts, all aimed at fostering a love for language and developing essential pre-reading and writing skills in a fun, nurturing environment.

Talking is Teaching: Focus on interests and use everyday conversation to maximize learning. Parents can build emergent early literacy skills by having rich, meaningful conversations with their child that are focused on their child’s interests, thoughts, questions, or concerns. This workshop will focus on giving parents concrete skills to keep conversations going in a way that supports and enhances their child’s early literacy and language skills.
