Children’s Museum Houston is thrilled to announce the return of its popular Sensory Friendly Days program, launching with a Halloween at the BOOseum-themed event on Oct. 13, 2025! This event marks the beginning of a new season of Sensory Friendly Days, designed specifically for children with autism and sensory sensitivities and their families, pre-registration is required. With four events scheduled at the Museum and two more at Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center, families can look forward to a season filled with inclusive, engaging activities.
This first event will feature special Halloween-themed programming tailored to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all visitors.

Identity Self-Portrait: Discover what makes you unique by filling out and coloring " Who Am I?" sheets that celebrate your interests, beliefs and background.
Ghost Rings: Explore the spooky side of science by creating toroidal vortexes—whirling air rings that float through the air!
Mystery Boxes: Use your senses to investigate mystery items hidden inside the box and try to guess what’s inside!
