WHAT'S HAPPENING?

Kidpendence Wishes Community Art: Decorate red, white, or blue paper strips with words, drawings, and prompts about what you love in your community and what you hope for the future, then help build a giant collaborative chain representing 250 years of shared stories and ideas.

When: From 9 am to 12 pm in New Kids' Hall

Science Demo Shows: Celebrate the Fourth of July with the ultimate science show featuring fiery lycopodium, elephant toothpaste eruptions, a mentos geyser salute, and our red, white and blue liquid nitrogen finale!

When: At 10 am on the Patio

Giggles and Stories: Kids’ Independence Celebration: Celebrate the spirit of independence with stories and activities about courage, kindness, community, and what makes each of us unique.

When: From 10 to 10:30 am in Gallery of Wonder

Mentos Geysers: Get ready for a splash of fun as you set off a fizzy explosion for a unique and exciting photo op! While supplies last.

When: From 10:30 to 11:30 am on the Patio

Face Painters: Skilled artists will transform you into a masterpiece with vibrant designs and fun characters!

When: From 10:30 am to 2:30 pm in Kids' Hall Alcove

Cotton Candy Science Workshops: Learn the science behind spinning sugar as you make your own fluffy cotton candy creations!

Puppet Show: Enjoy a fun, family-friendly puppet show with Megan as characters explore teamwork, sharing ideas, and making group decisions through laughter and Kidpendence Day spirit.
