Keep Minds Engaged Campaign

Your gift enables us to keep minds-on virtual learning available for Houston's children.

From the moment the Museum closed its doors on March 16th, our team of educators went into action to make the Museum experience virtual. Every day, the Museum has sent out a schedule filled with educational programming ranging from sing-a-longs for toddlers to fully interactive Computer Aided Design workshops for older students. Thousands of children and families tune in every day to watch our highly qualified Educators do what they do best: keep minds engaged.

In total, we have created 550 educational videos and participatory workshops, reaching more than 4 million viewers from all over the world.

Forbes.com named Children's Museum Houston one of the nation’s top providers of virtual experiences in response to COVID-19 closures:

"The warm personalities of their employees and community members jump right off the screen and make for engaging and informative experiences.”

Parents and children have been eager to share how much they appreciate having our free virtual resources available as they socially distance at home:

“What a resourceful masterpiece! – Learn Play Grow Consulting
“Thank you from all the people working from home that are also homeschooling too!” – Kristen U.
“Thank you for the awesome videos! I enjoy the science videos and my toddler loves Tot*Tunes. He loves the music and can now say“ sousaphone”. – Michelle D.

The Museum's free virtual learning program would not be possible without your generosity. Please support the Museum and donate to our Keep Minds Engaged Campaign today.
