Get ready for a whimsical adventure as Children's Museum Houston invites families to embark on a thrilling celebration in honor of the Year of the Dragon! Lunar New Year is Feb. 10, 2024.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
Soaring Phoenix: Watch as lion dancers erupt into a kaleidoscope of colors and dynamic beats.
Event Time: At 11 a.m. in Kid’s Hall Alcove.
Malia’s Hula Hut: Dive into a whirlwind of tropical fun with electrifying dances from across the Pacific!
Event Time: At noon in Brown Auditorium.
Lavang Lion Dance: See lions move, shake and jump to the beat of the drums to welcome good fortune.
Event Time: At 1p.m. in Kids’ Hall Alcove.
Dance of Asia America: Embark on a journey through Asia's rich history in a breathtaking performance!
Event Time: At 2 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.
Houston Grand Opera: Catch "Ruby's Chinese New Year" by Vicki Lee, an interactive storybook opera.
Event Time: At 3 pm in Brown Auditorium.

- Chinese Character Banner: Make your own lucky banner, a vibrant masterpiece in Junktion.
