VOLUNTEER AT A PLAYGROUND FOR YOUR MIND!
The Children's Museum of Houston offers many volunteer opportunities for teens, adults and groups. Interact with visitors, assist staff in the action-packed exhibits or help our hard-working Administrative staff during your volunteer experience.
DISCOVERY SQUAD PROGRAMAges 14 - 17
The Discovery Squad members, our teen volunteer program, are asked to complete a minimum of 75 hours of volunteer service to the Museum during the summer months or throughout the school year.

ADULT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Volunteers are asked to complete a minimum of 30 hours of volunteer service to the Museum per year. Activities include volunteering at the Information Booth, or for Special Events and Museum Outreach.
GROUP VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
The Group Program is for community groups (ie youth clubs, scout troops, etc) who want to volunteer for short term projects, half a day or one full day. All group members must be at least 14 years old. Your group or organization can enjoy a fun-filled day at the Museum and earn volunteer hours!

The Corporate Program is for corporate and business groups who wish to compliment their contribution to the community through volunteer service.
CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!
The Children's Museum of Houston is currently seeking Kids' Committee volunteers for the 2014 - 2015 school year! Comprised of 25 children, the Kids’ Committee is dedicated to helping the Museum be a better place for children. They provide a kid’s perspective for the museum on everything from exhibit development to programming. Applicants must be between the ages of 8 – 12, and in 3rd – 7th grade, as of September 1, 2014.
Applications must be submitted via email, fax or mail by April 25, 2014. Final decisions will be announced via email on May 27, 2014.
