Halloween Spooktacular - The Ultimate Halloween Party for Families

Monday, Oct. 31 -  Open Special Hours from 4 - 8 p.m. 

Dance to the fangtastic sounds of  an undead DJ, enjoy safe trick-or-treating, plus much more!  Our Happy Halloween Mansion will stay open late until 8 p.m. with these activities and more:  
 
Undead DJ:
Come dressed in costume and let the ghoul times roll as you boogie to the hauntingly hip tunes of an undead DJ.  Be sure to come dressed in your most boo-tiful or frightfully freaky costume!  “Checkout” is at 8 p.m.
 
                                                        
Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt:
Upon arrival, the Mansion staff will welcome you and “check you in” the Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt.  Follow the Spooky Street and nab your own bag to decorate and collect your treats.
Live Leech Feeding:
Cover up as you approach the Attack of the Bloodsuckers.  This skin crawling, new exhibit explores the science of what’s eating you and zooms in on the famished parasites that raid your personal space.  You’ll be itching to catch Live Leech Feedings at 5 p.m. on Oct. 31.  Make sure you watch out as bloodsuckers lurk everywhere for a chance to take a bite of you!
Batty About Bats:
Head over to the Hidden Tarantula Hut to get Batty about Bats making bat skeletons and bat flipbooks or playing a game of nocturnal concentration.  The Houston Bat Project will serve as evening entertainment presenting their local Waugh Bridge bat colony expertise and artifacts at 5 and 6 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Spooky Science:
Ooze with amazement and ickiness as you experiment with ooey, gooey, super coolly slime at the Mad Scientist Lab.

 Bug Rubbings:
Turn to BooVille where fleeting ghosts will greet you and unleash your inner mischievous sprite to create creepy crawly Bug Rubbings.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Frankencritters:
Delve further down into the Mansion’s Crypt to be your own Dr. Frankenstein and bring your robotic Frankencritter creations to LIFE  in the Inventor’s Workshop Mwahahahah!!! (Take Home Kit Fee $3)
