Thursdays, 5 - 8 p.m.
Thursday evenings from 5 to 8 p.m. the Museum hosts Free Family Nights, during which all admission fees are waived and families are able to come to the Museum and experience everything CMH has to offer. The free admission provided to visitors not only includes access to all of our hands-on exhibit but to a wide variety of programming that extends from the cultural arts to science and math.

- Del Espadin Flamenco Dance Academy - These performers introduce their audience to traditional flamenco dancing.
- Las Americas Ballet Folklorico - This troupe delights parents and children alike with their traditional Mexican songs and dances.
- Express Children's Theatre - A favorite of among Museum visitors, these actors present several performances at CMH each year, which range from classic fairytales to the historical plays.
- Dionysus Theatre - Consisting of young able-bodied and disabled performers, this theatre troupe works to promote tolerance and understanding for people of all ability levels.
- Mariachi Imperial - This nine-person mariachi group from Mexico has entertained audiences for more than 17 years.
- Anjali Indian Dance Troupe - A Houston-based group, these performers introduce visitors to classical Indian dances.
