Langston Hughes was a poet during the Harlem Renaissance era.  In his poem, "The Negro Speaks of Rivers," he describes the Black experience and Black history as it's connected with rivers and water.  Follow Children's Museum Houston educator, Tiffany, as she recites this precious poem and explores the interpretations of illustrator E.B. Lewis in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
