About the exhibit

Based on Cyberchase,™ the Emmy Award-winning PBS KIDS cartoon, Cyberchase—The Chase Is On! presents math in a fun, action-packed environment where you will have to use your critical thinking skills to save the day! Just like the show, you’ll enter Cyberspace through a special portal, get greeted by Motherboard, and explore your favorite Cybersites! You’ll work with the CyberSquad: Matt, Inez, Jackie and Digit, to protect Cyberspace from the evil Hacker while exploring concepts like algebra, geometry, fractions and probability.

Educators

Cyberchase—The Chase Is On! demonstrates that math is a tool we can use to solve everyday problems and problem solving can be done using many different strategies. The components in this exhibit focus on using place value, patterns, geometry, algebra, probability and fractions to help children and visitors solve problems in an investigative, positive environment. Practicing this math and problem solving helps boost self-confidence and helps kids realize that math is all around us—they may just not know it yet!
