The Vortex is our giant whirlpool in FlowWorks! This is a free vortex, meaning it is only caused by spinning water going down a drain. We added jets to the bottom to cause the water to spin. So, as the water is pulled through the drain, the circulation of the water allows it to happen faster in the center than on the sides, creating the “whirlpool.” Explore the FlowWorks Exhibit |
