Children’s Museum of Houston celebrates Thanksgiving with float making and energetic holiday parade!

Give thanks for what you have, and share joyful moments with your family and friends during our invigorating Thanksgiving celebration. Energize your holiday spirit with exhilarating activities that’ll engage you in terrific Thanksgiving traditions! Plus, don’t miss your chance to tell the Children's Museum Santa what you want for Christmas.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
- Thanksgiving Day Float Making & Parade: Create your own dazzling float and strut it down through Kid’s Hall during our vivacious Thanksgiving Parade!
Thanksgiving Float Making: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Thanksgiving Day Parade: 1 p.m.
ACTIVITIES:
- Cornucopia: Celebrate all the good things you have by filling your very own cornucopia with pretend fruits, vegetables and flowers harvested from the garden!
- Being Thankful: Write your own “Thank You” poem to share with family and friends to show your gratitude!
- Paper Bag Turkeys: Whether or not a turkey was eaten during the first Thanksgiving is a mystery, but we do know this bird is yummy and it symbolizes the holiday! Gobble up fun by making your own made-from-scratch pretend turkey!
