There’s something new to do and celebrate every day of Spring Break at America’s No. 1 children’s museum and Houston’s ultimate family destination! Get away and soak in the fun during the Museum's action-packed Spring Break week, Bank of America Destination Celebration, March 9 – 17, 2013. When visiting CMH, Binz is best! Set sail on a voyage of discovery where your itinerary is filled to the brim with exciting, non-stop adventures every day, all day long! Plus, all activities are included with admission!

• Soar to new heights on our Bungee Trampoline. Check out Kid Cam video from the Bungee Trampolines!
• Climb to the top of the Coconut Tree.
• Try your luck at the Boardwalk Bonanza.
• Relish in the Caribbean sounds of a steel drummer.
• Celebrate Pi Day (3.14) with a Shaving Cream Pi(e) Fight on March 14!

Embark on a daily escapade filled with thrills, hands-on activities, shows, and interactive performances. The bliss sounds of a Caribbean steel drummer will welcome your expedition as you begin your day with a jaw dropping ceremonial kickoff complete with confetti cannons. Continue your journey partaking in interactive activities all throughout the Museum. Then let the rhythm take over and rock the block at our dance party. But don’t let the fun stop there; catch an interactive performance (with a lineup that changes every day). Then, cool down by becoming the star of your own show at the end the day. 10:30 a.m. Ceremonial Kickoff (Sundays at 12:30 p.m.) – Kick-start your getaway and whip you hair back and forth with the Discovery Guide Celebration Crew as confetti cannons get your journey started with a bang!
11 a.m. Plastic Fusion Art (Sundays at noon) – Takeoff on a mind-bending challenge and put your brain to the test with accessories you design and take home!
2 p.m. Dance Party – Let the good times roll! Put your hands up to the sound and have a good time as our Discovery Guides lead an interactive jam.
3 p.m. The Main Show – Enjoy some entertainment on the “high seas” and be captivated by live and interactive performances. (See online calendar for complete lineup)
4 p.m. Get In The Act - Embark on a whirlwind adventure of family-friendly competition with a montage of games or get wild on stage with a karaoke performance.
SHAVING CREAM PI(E) FIGHT IN CELEBRATION OF 9TH ANNUAL Π (PI) DAY, MARCH 14
March 14 is π (Pi) Day and it’s also Albert Einstein’s birthday! The Children’s Museum of Houston is where the original international π (Pi) Day sensation really started nearly a decade ago and it has caught on ever since!Come celebrate the infinite, non-repeating number 3.14… as we close our street to duke it out in a messy, Pi(e)-induced frenzy during our 4th Annual Shaving Cream Pi(e) Showdown on March 14, 2013. Get tossed right into the π (Pi) Day celebration at 1:59 p.m. (1.59 because the numbers follow 3.14159) and get ready for a fun-filled day of all things π (Pi).
