Strut your stuff and feel like a movie star as you walk down the red carpet and watch an episode of the award-winning PBS Kids® animated series, Sid the Science Kid™ (www.pbskids.org/sid) showing on Feb. 11 at the Children’s Museum of Houston (CMH).  Featuring practical in-school science, music and humor, this animated TV series celebrates children’s natural curiosity about science in everyday life!  Strap on your thinking cap and embark on an exciting scientific adventure.  Plus, take home a poster!

SPECIAL EVENTS:

• Red Carpet Walk:  No episode viewing would be complete without your star power.

• Sid the Science Kid™ Episode Viewing:  Catch an episode and grab a free Sid the Science Kid™ poster on your way out! (While supplies last)

• Sid Character Photo Opp:  Starstruck the “paparazzi” by striking a pose with Sid.

• Sid the Science Kid™ Marble Runs:  Explore inclined planes by making twisty, crazy marble runs at Science Station.

• Gimme the Mic: Get in on the action and make your own Sid mic at Junktion.

• Genius Journal:  Head to Junktion to personalize your own Sid the Science Kid™ journal and keep track of your adventures as you explore the Museum.

• Walk of Fame Star:  Leave your mark in the Kid’s Hall.

• Sid the Science Kid App:  There is an app for that!  Explore Sid’s cyber adventures with our iPads.
