WIZARDS OF POP

Celebrate Pop Art during Wizards of Pop!

Celebrate children’s pop up books with exhibit display and things that pop!
July 21 – 27

Pop with excitement for the new art exhibit, Wizards of Pop, on display through Aug. 28.   The exhibit showcases the skills of children book illustrators, Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinart, who have engineered pop art for children’s books, including Peter Pan, Cinderella and The Jungle Book.  Come celebrate 3-D magic and experience things that pop with workshops and activities bursting with fun! ON-GOING ACTIVITIES:

• Lips That Pop:  Make a face to remember but with a mouth that won’t quiet down at Junktion.
 
• Pop up Flowers:  Swing by Junktion to surprise someone special with a card featuring a pop-up flower bouquet.
 
• Add Pop to Math:  Make numbers stand out with a fun pop-up book in the ExxonMobil Math Cart.
 
• Pop-Up Hearts:  Stop by the Alexander Art Academy and design a greeting card that can make someone’s heart pop.
 
• Bubble Mania:  Have some bursting bubble fun and explore where bubbles get their iridescent colors at Science Station.

SPECIAL EVENTS:
 
• Bubble Festival:  Double, double toil and trouble!  Bubbles are everywhere in the Allen Family Courtyard!  Come on over and make your own bubbles but try not to get in trouble!
