The week’s theme is all about pirates and the fascinating journeys that happen on the open sea. Come by in your best pirate gear and get into character with the Museum’s array of activity offerings this week!

Pirate Hat: Complete the pirate look with a homemade pirate hat! Use your imagination to design a unique hat.

Sail Cars: Most cars are powered by motors. This particular car requires lung power to get moving. Create a sail car and challenge others to a race!

Talk Like a Pirate Day:   Arrgh you ready to be a pirate for a day? Celebrate this day dedicated to swashbucklers and landlubbers alike at the Museum! Stop by and make a pirate’s spy glass and take part in a treasure hunt during this unusual, yet real, holiday!
